教学目标
 [德育目标]：通过本单元的学习让学生充分认识西方的重要节日圣诞节。通过中西方节日对比，让学生进一步了解中国历史文化的悠久，增强学生的爱国意识。

[智育目标]：激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学习积极性，引导学生积极与他人合作，在活动中培养学生的协作能力和竞争意识。

[素质发展目标]：知识： 掌握下列词汇：yesterday, tomorrow, today, card, be going to

能力：1. 学生能够将所学单词运用到实际生活当中去，知道圣诞节是哪一天；    圣诞节的装饰品（如：圣诞树、灯）；会向他人祝福圣诞节快乐！2、熟练地描述某人昨天做了什么事情；今天做什么事情；明天打算做什么事情。

教学重点难点
 [教学重点]：掌握本课四会单词和句型

[教学难点]：能灵活应用所学知识进行交际。

    学生活动的形式力求丰富多彩，定内容、定时间、定专题、定场地、定专人进行。试图通过开展英语朗诵比赛、单词比赛、诗歌剧表演赛、课本剧表演赛、手抄报比赛、演讲比赛，在学校范围内创设一种学习的氛围，丰富学生的语言生活，培养学生学习语言的兴趣，加强学习的自主性和目的性，从而实现学生学习方式的转变。
