4.     Check the homework.

5.     Act the dialogue of Part A.

Step2. Presentation

1.     Show the pupils a toy deer. T: Look. What’s this? Do you know? Ss: It’s a deer. T: Yeah. Very good. You’re right/ Well done. Read “deer”. Show a toy giraffe to teach “giraffe”.

2.     Teach tall and short by hands. Help the pupils say: The giraffe is tall. The deer is short.

3.     Listen to the tape and read the dialogue.
