教学内容

教学目标

1.语言知识目标:

1)能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词UK, British, USA, American, Japan, Japanese。

2)学习四会句型Where are you from? I’m from … I’m …I speak…

2.语言技能目标:

1)能根据情境和图片说出单词和句子

2)在设计的情景下进行简单的英语交流。

3.情感态度目标:

1)进一步提高学生对英语的学习热情,增强学习兴趣。

2)培养学生积极主动地参与课堂活动,大胆开口,主动模仿。

3)通过本课的学习培养学生的语言表达能力。

4.文化意识目标

让学生掌握并了解一些国家、国籍和他们的语言,能在学习中体会到世界文化的丰富多彩,感受世界和平的重要,培养学生的爱国情感。

教学重点难点

学习要求四会的语句:Where are you from? I’m from … I’m …/the UK, British,the USA, American, Japan, Japanese,等。

教学准备

国旗图片、世界地图、世界各国国旗、录音机、挂图和课件画有各国国旗的头饰

教学过程

Step 1 Warm up

1. Sing English songs together.(利用歌曲开始教学,有利于学生很快的进入课堂,渲染气氛。

2. 以Good morning! Glad to see you! 等跟学生问好.

3. 听读a rhyme:Come here and meet us,please.(童谣的听读,使学生对本课要学习的内容有一个简单的认识.)

Step 2 Free talk

1 师生问答:T: Excuse me, do you have any hobbies? S:Yes,I do. I like ...

2 Practise in pairs

3 Ask a group to act it out.

(Free talk让学生较好地进行相互交流,较好地促进了学生间的合作学习,同时也让学生学会了怎样与同学分享学习成果,最重要的是Free talk的开展,能在很大程度上让学生复现以前学过的知识。较好地让学生体验到了学习的快乐、学习的自主性、学习的创新性、学习的成功感。)

Step 3 Prensentation and Practice

1 unit9 the English club

T: Today, we have some friends in the English club. Look, this is the English club.(教师贴出事先准备好的English club图片)

Teach club---- English club----the English club----unit9 the English club (学生齐读课题)

2 China , Chinese

T:I want to see some friends in the English club. Do you want to join me?

Ss: Yes.

T: OK.Let’s go.

T: Look, this is the first friend. Who’s the boy?

Ss: He’s Wang Bing.

T: Yes, he’s Wang Bing. He’s from China. (Teach China)

T: Wang Bing is from China, I’m from China, too. (Teach ‘I’m from China’)

T: I’m from China. So, I’m Chinese. I speak Chinese. (Teach ‘Chinese’)

T: Where are you from?

Ss: I’m from China.I’m Chinese. I speak Chinese.

Dialogue between the students.

(采取以旧引新的教学方法,由China、Chinese入手教学句型,然后在句型中呈现新的国籍类单词,做到了词不离句,过渡自然,不露痕迹,循序渐进的训练使学生学得轻松。)

3 Japan, Japanese

T:Now, I’m Yumi. Guess “ Where am I from?”

s: You are from Japan.( 多媒体展示)

T:Yes .I’m from Japan. I’m Japanese. I speak Japanese.(Teach Japan Japanese)

T: You are Yumi, Where are you from?

S: I’m from Japan. I’m Japanese. I speak Japanese.

(英语的学习重在交际,重在运用,要注重创设“信息沟”,没有信息差异就要创设信息沟,让学生跳一跳,才能摘到桃子.)

4 the UK, British

T:Look, this is Nancy. Let’s ask : Nancy, Nancy, where are you from ?( 多媒体展示) I’m from the UK, I’m British. I speak English.

Teach the UK, British.

T:Girls you are Nancy. Where are you from?

Gs: I’m from the UK.I’m British I speak English

Girls ask boys.

Sing a song (边拍手边用两只老虎的调子唱)

Where are you from?Where are you from?

I’m from the UK. I’m from the UK.

I am British. I am British.

I speak English. I speak English.

(歌曲是英语教学中一个比较重要的环节,它能够使学生全神贯注,注意力集中起来。事实上,在课堂教学过程中,学生们也已经做到了这一点。)

5 the USA , American

T:I’ll introduce a new friend to you. Welcome Tony White.(边拍手边唱)

Tony White, Tony White, welcome Tony White.

He’s coming. Guess: Where is he from?

Teach the USA, American

T: Now , let’s chant.

USA, USA, I’m from the USA.

American, American ,I am American.

English, English, I speak English.

6 同样的方法教学Australia ,Australian France, French

Step 5 Consolidation

1. have a chant

T: Let’s have a chant. (China, China, I’m from China. Chinese, Chinese, I’m Chinese. Chinese, Chinese, I speak Chinese. China, China, I love China.)

T: This time , there’re some blanks in the chant. At first, I’ll ask someone to finish it.Who can try?(让学生根据上面的格式自编童谣,激发学生的表现欲望和成功的感受.)Now, let’s chant!

The Ss say the chant together.(学生边说边拍手,这样既可以防止学生唱读,又可以活跃课堂气氛)

T: Children, I have some pictures here. Can you tell me, what country is it? ……

2. some photos of different countries(欣赏各国图片,说出国家名称)

3. Act a play

T: Boys and girls, we know, there’s an Olympic Game in Beijing in 2008. At that time, many friends of different countries will come to China. Let’s welcome them.

Ss: Welcome to China! Welcome to Beijing! Have a good time in Beijing!

T: Please make a dialogue with them.

学生分组运用本课知识进行问答(结合书上C部分内容,学生戴上画有各国国旗的头饰进行操练)

(创设2008北京奥运会,各国朋友齐聚北京这一情境,让学生尽可能在真实的语境中进行交际,让学生在学中用,用中学,为用而学,从而体现了语言的真正价值。从而形成了活跃的课堂气氛。UUU)

T: Boys and girls, look, this is a map of China.We are Chinese, so we love China for ever. Yes? OK, let’s say ‘I love China’ together cloudly!

教师启发:作为中国人很自豪的边做动作边说 chant.

(这样既可以使学生感到学习知识的真实性,又不失时机的渗透了爱国主义教育,体现了对学生情感态度,价值观的关注。)

Step 6 Summary

What we learnt today? T say Ss speak.

(课堂总结让学生对一节课所学知识进行回顾,有利于培养学生对英语的积极情感,养成良好的学习习惯,促进学生的发展。)

设计思路

小学英语教学的主要任务之一是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,这就要求在教学中必须走学生“乐”学的趣味教学道路。本课的核心内容是介绍国家,国籍和语言。重点学习句型Where are you from ? I’m from … I’m …I speak… 教学时,采用以旧带新的方法拓展相关知识。为充分调动学生的英语学习兴趣,在本课中,我通过情景交际法,听说、儿歌、小记者采访等教学手段,紧紧吸引学生的注意力,促使他们踊跃参与教学活动,从而逐渐发展他们听、说、读的能力及英语会话的能力。 在新授内容结束后,创设2008北京奥运会,各国朋友齐聚北京这一情境,让学生尽可能在真实的语境中进行交际,让学生在学中用,用中学,为用而学,从而体现了语言的真正价值。
